- It is usually recommended to visit India during winter. However, it is very foggy; you will not be able to watch the monument, clearly. In addition, it is better not to visit during weekends, as it will be very crowded. So if you are visiting to this historical city then you must keep this your mind don’t plan to visit on Friday. Taj Mahal will be closed for the visitors on every Friday.
- For day visits, the monument is open from 6 in the morning to 7 in the evening and for night visits, 8:30 pm to 12:30 pm. Timing is very important for everyone because if you are not reaching there on time then you can miss the memorable moments that can make this journey memorable.
- The ticket of entry includes entry to monument, shoe covers, water bottle, tourist map of Agra and electronic bus service to the entry gate. - You are not supposed to carry tobacco items, smoking products, tripod, phone charger and any drinks. If you a photo enthusiast then you can carry your cell phone and camera to capture some memorable moment & pictures. Rest can be kept in a locker, provided at the entrance. Any restricted product in your belonging will be confiscated before entering the monument.
- If you are reaching the monument in a vehicle, you need to park your vehicle at least 500m away from the monument. Pollution is said to be the major cause of deterioration of marbles. Thus, vehicles are not allowed closer to the monument.
- No photograph is allowed inside the monument. You can take pictures of the monument from outside.
- There will be a long queue at the ticket counter and there are quite less trees to provide shade. Thus, carry umbrella or cap with you.
- There is separate line for men and women for transport system and for entry. Try to obey the rules.
- For the entrance ticket you have purchased, you will be allowed to stay inside the monument for three hours. Additional charges will be charged if you are staying for longer.
